Hello, I am Tessa Gee. Welcome to my food blog!
I say food blog, the subject of the blog is food rather than just recipes. So although it is partly about cooking and recipes it is also about the food itself and surrounding issues.
- So I have started a series on ingredients (A for Avocado …).
- I will be writing about kitchen gadgets and how to use them.
- I will be reviewing food cookbooks
- I will be talking to suppliers
- In collaboration with Dr Sam (see below) I will be looking at health issues and also
- Food and the environment
Plus there are a few other ideas floating around which I don’t want to let out yet. I have always been interested in food and food issues so I am really excited about exploring them and writing about them here for you.
About the recipes
I aim to publish mostly easy, but delicious, recipes which anyone can do, whether they are experienced at cooking or not.
In any case, it is often the simple recipes that are the best – so long as you use top quality ingredients, preferably organic. Simply cooked food from fresh ingredients is also generally the healthiest food – it won’t have all those nasty E numbers and other chemical additives which are generally best avoided.
